WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Books to do a little reading plan update.

The Three Ws are:

I finally got The Nix back from the library, and I’m gonna finish it this time! I actually wasn’t super into it before, but it has started getting more interesting.

Recently Finished:

I was a bit disappointed with Wild Beauty. I expected lots of pretty imagery and a good story. Pretty, flowery visuals – yes, interesting story – not so much. I’ll have a full review out soon.

An Enchantment of Ravens disappointed me for another reason – it’s a standalone. I would LOVE more to this story! I feel like if it had been made a series it would have had a lot more time for parts that were rushed, and we could have loved the characters and the world for even longer. It would have been nice. Full review also coming soon!

The Restorer wasn’t quite my cup of tea. It had elements of paranormal, mystery, and romance stories, and I feel like some of the parts didn’t mesh super well. Or maybe it was just the romance bit that bothered me. I don’t have any problem with a good love story or whatever, but I don’t think I’ve picked up much of anything in the romance category – it’s just not my thing. I think I would only come back to this series if I can’t find anything else on Overdrive.

Children of Daedala was everything I wanted and more and less! I thought this was going to be a duology, because Goodreads doesn’t have anything listed about book three… but that ending makes it very clear that it’s not. The ending was actually quite painful. Like, I scrolled to the next page expecting another chapter, but it was the end of the book. It was a huuuuuuuge cliffhanger. I wanted to scream. I still kind of do. I have NO idea how I’m going to wait for the next one. Full review coming next week!
