Book Box Review: Owl Crate December

Owl Crate’s theme this month was Seize the Day. This was an awesomely bright and fun box, and I 100% plan on using every item included!

This box included:

A contemporary novel about a girl whose high school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream leads her to new friends—and maybe even new love.
The day of the last party of the summer, Claudia overhears a conversation she wasn’t supposed to. Now on the wrong side of one of the meanest girls in school, Claudia doesn’t know what to expect when the two are paired up to write a paper—let alone when they’re both forced to try out for the school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
But mandatory participation has its upsides—namely, an unexpected friendship, a boy band obsession, and a guy with the best dimpled smile Claudia’s ever seen. As Claudia’s world starts to expand, she finds that maybe there are some things worth sticking her neck out for.

This sounds like a cute high school read. I’ve heard some good things about it from the bookstagram community, so I’m looking forward to reading it soon!

Oh. My. Gosh. Isn’t this planner just the cutest! I really want to use it to try to plan more and be more consistent with my posting on here and Instagram, so we’ll see how that goes haha.

I love this quote. And I love this bag. I will definitely be using it! Especially if I ever let myself go back to the library (I have a giant TBR pile of books I own but haven’t read and a lot of NetGalley books I have to get to soon, so it’ll probably be a while.)

Dreaming Tree SPARKLE CANDLE! I think this might be the first candle I’ve gotten in one of these boxes that I want to burn, just so I can watch the glitter mix in with the wax. It also smells quite yummy. I think it would work very well for an alternative Christmas smell.

This ornament is super cute! I love that it’s wood. And that it’s books. And such a good quote from Everything Everything.

Another great quote from Percy Jackson on a super cute magnet! Someday when I have my own fridge, this will go on it. 😛

More great quotes from The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Serpent King on this double sided bookmark. But I haven’t read these books yet, so I don’t love them quite as much.

Did you receive Owl Crate’s December box? What was your favorite item?
