Book Box Review: Fairy Loot December

So this Fairy Loot was a tiny bit of a let down. I feel like the Funko was the focus point, and while it’s neat, it was a bit underwhelming compared to what they included last month and what I’ve seen them include before.

This box included:

In the kingdom of Sempera, time is currency—extracted from blood, bound to iron, and consumed to add time to one’s own lifespan. The rich aristocracy, like the Gerlings, tax the poor to the hilt, extending their own lives by centuries.

No one resents the Gerlings more than Jules Ember. A decade ago, she and her father were servants at Everless, the Gerlings’ palatial estate, until a fateful accident forced them to flee in the dead of night. When Jules discovers that her father is dying, she knows that she must return to Everless to earn more time for him before she loses him forever.

But going back to Everless brings more danger—and temptation—than Jules could have ever imagined. Soon she’s caught in a tangle of violent secrets and finds her heart torn between two people she thought she’d never see again. Her decisions have the power to change her fate—and the fate of time itself.

Yesssss! I wanted this book, and I guessed this was what it was going to be and I’m so excited to read it!!

I first saw that this came in the box in someone else’s Instagram unboxing, and I though we were getting a whole second book haha. So not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed to just get a chapter sample. I already want this book and plan to buy it, so I might not even read this.

🙂 I knew we were getting Funkos, but I am so happy to have gotten Repunzel. Tangeled is one of my favorite movies and it came with Pascal and he’s my favorite sidekick and aaaaahhhh.

I got the Prince Adam candle. It is rose scented and it smells so good! It’s also sparkly! 🙂

This is a very cute pencil case. I’m trying to come up with something to put in it and actually use it. It seems like it would be the perfect size for pens and pencils for a college student, but nowadays I don’t need them all that often so I have one or two in my purse. It might be a good size for on-the-go touch-up makeup, but I don’t really wear makeup. I don’t know.

This Red Queen mini notebook is very nice, and is perfect for tossing in your purse and having something for quick notes.

Not the best picture of this key-chain. It says “books rule.” It’s very cute. I will probably never hang it on anything though. My keys are heavy enough.

Did you receive Fairy Loot’s December box? Which Funko and candle did you get? What was your favorite item?

    1. If price isn’t a big issue for you or you live in the UK, then yes I would, but shipping to the US is -really- expensive. In total, each box came out to $50+ even with a discount code. It’s also a really hard box to just try out – they usually sell out within a few hours of opening sales.
