WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Books to do a little reading plan update.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading:
I intended to finish The Girls in the Picture over the weekend, but I forgot Obsidio came out, so I ended up only getting through a chapter or two since last week. Oops.
I just started Kill City Blues, and I kind of feel like a proud parent. Stark is (sort of) growing up! And by that I mean controlling his impulses to fight. He’s working on it.
Recently Finished:
Second Grave on the Left was wonderful. I fully appreciate Charlie’s IDGAF attitude, even if other characters don’t. She makes me giggle.
So Obsidio finally came out last week. I pre-ordered it and went ahead and bought Illuminae and Gemina to go with. So basically as soon as I got my hands on them I started rereading the first two to properly set up Obsidio. And the whole story is sooooo good! Even as rereads, Illuminae and Gemina were really hard to put down, and of course I devoured Obsidio. I fully intend to write reviews for all three, and I’ll try to get my reviews written for Amie Kaufman’s other books soon!
The Red Pyramid was great! I don’t know much about Egyptian mythology, so this was pretty interesting. And like all Rick Riordan books, I loved the characters.
Up Next:
Ok, fingers crossed this is actually the last time I say The Last Girl on Earth is up next. Feel free to yell at me if it’s not. We’ll see next week. 😛 China Rich Girlfriend is up next on Overdrive.
I can’t wait for your reviews on the Illuminae series! I’ve only read Illuminae but I can’t wait to read Gemina and Obsidio! Have a great reading week! 🙂

I am about 30 pages into Illuminae and I am struggling with a reading slump. Definitely not the book, because I’m so anxious to finish it. Hopefully my motivation and attention span comes back!

Reading slumps are the worst! But I do think Illuminae could be a really good book to help with that – it’s a really quick and easy read. 🙂 Good luck!
