WWW Wednesday [20]

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Books to do a little reading plan update.

The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

Um. Well, I finished the only book I was actively reading this afternoon, and just haven’t started another yet. I’m still working on It and The Girls in the Picture, but haven’t picked either of them up this week. I do have a nice long weekend coming up, so I’ll try to make some progress on them!

Recently Finished:

Kill City Blues was nice and full of Stark snark. A bit slower than the rest of the series so far, but I still loved it.

15th Affair was one of the better Women’s Murder Club books. It had good writing and a compelling plot that made me really want to keep reading.

I’ve been really craving a good YA fantasy book for a while, and Falling Kingdoms sounded like exactly what I was looking for. I did really start to like it by the end, but it took me a while to really get into/start caring about what happened to the main characters. I think this is also one of the only books in a series that showed a war from start to finish in just the first book, which was quite impressive.

A World Without You was quite confusing at first. Bo had me convinced that they actually did have powers and I was going through how they could possibly convince the state that Sophia was dead when there was no proof. But then I realized what was going on. And I have to say, I was quite sad. Every time Bo insisted he could travel in time, I wished he was right, but I knew he wasn’t.

I don’t know what I’m going to read next. My choices are The Last Girl on Earth, Ray vs the Meaning of Life, Ash Princess, or Sky in the Deep. I need to get reviews done for all of these over the next month, so I’ll get them all anyway, but I just don’t know which I want to get to first.
