WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Books to do a little reading plan update.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I started Still Life a few weeks ago, and it was okay. My Overdrive loan ran out (thanks vacation), so I’ve got to wait for it again before I can finish it.
My Overdrive loan ran out before I could get too far into A is for Alibi (again, thanks vacation), but I’m not loving it so far. The main character, whose name I can’t even remember right now, really has no personality. I’m debating getting it out from the library (since Overdrive has a stupid long wait for it) just to get through it, or I might end up DNFing it.
Since You’ve Been Gone is the perfect summer read. It is super fun, and has me seriously missing my school days and my school friends. I’m far enough along that I think I might know why Sloan sent Emily this list.
Fifth Grave Past the Light is hilarious. I freaking love Charley. I’m seriously grinning just about the entire way through this book. And actually laughing out loud. I love it.
Recently Finished: Once again, it’s been quite a while since I’ve participated in WWW Wednseday, so here are my favorites of what I’ve read recently!
Love & Gelato was incredibly cute. And I already wanted to before reading this, but now I really want to go to Italy. Like now.
I freaking love Rick Riordan. His books are all so fantastically diverse and full of such wonderful characters.
I finally finished the I Am Number Four series, and boy does this series not pull punches. It was a little more GRRM than most YA series I read, which is fine with me, just really surprising.
Bring Me Their Hearts was wonderful. I loved Zera being a little darker than a lot of YA heroines are, yet she was still such a likable character. I am super upset that this was not a standalone and now have to wait who knows how long until book 2. Ugh. Full review possibly coming, haven’e decided yet.
When Dimple Met Rishi was also super cute. I think that’s the overall theme of YA contemporary romances. I loved that Dimple was so unwilling to give even an inch when it came to her beliefs and what she wanted from her life.
I am (very slowly) making my way through Harry Potter again this summer, and up next is Prisoner of Azkaban. Then because book 2 was just released, I’m going to try to get Nyxia from the library so I can read book 2, which I got it from NetGalley a good long time ago. Next up, as I try to work my way through all the YA contemporaries on my shelf this summer, I’m hoping get to Tyler Johnson Was Here. And lastly, I’m going to try to pick up Social Physics.
