Hello my fellow bookworms. It’s been a while. So yeah, after that four month unscheduled hiatus, I’m going to try this again. I think I might be changing up how I do reviews – more of the shorter ones like I did in my Summer of Contemporaries post, and hopefully more reviews in general. I think I do want to do these seasonal genre posts, as that’s also how I’m trying to work through my physical TBR, but I might also do a monthly wrap up that includes reviews for anything else. Maybe.
I’m also planning to do more than just books – Mondays I think will be “Media Monday” where I’ll talk about non-book media. If I’m binging a show on Hulu, if I can’t stop listening to a playlist/song on Spotify, if I’ve actually read a magazine/article that’s really sticking with me, if I’m absolutely in love with someone on Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter, I want to share all of that too! I’ll still be doing WWW Wednesdays and potentially Top Ten Tuesdays depending on how much time I have to write posts that week. I do not think I will be doing unboxings, unless I’m actually getting them up within a week or so of receiving the box. I might try to come up with topics for more conversational posts.
While this is my blog, and I know I can do what I want, I am curious if content even further from that would be something you are interested in? I’m trying to work my way to being a more fashionable person, and I’d be interested in posting about that. I love to travel, and while I don’t get to do it often, I would love to share my adventures! I love health and fitness, and I would be happy share anything that would help someone else. I do follow other blogs that mix books, travel, make up and more, and I do enjoy it, but I’m curious what my audience would think if this book blog included more.
Any thoughts would be so sincerely appreciated! I hope to hear from you!
Welcome back! I also just returned from an accidental hiatus just a week ago, so here’s hoping we can both commit to posting more regularly 💪🏻
I think it’d be a great idea to write posts about media other than books! I personally wouldn’t read blogs on any other topic probably, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. As cheesy as it sounds, just write what you enjoy & your enthusiasm will come across to your audience (& may even open you up to a new audience!)

Thank you! Yes, good luck to both of us, haha!
That’s what I’m thinking/hoping. I’m definitely leaning towards it, it’s just… weirdish? Idk, I am that person who has three separate Instagrams so I can dedicate them to different things. But I don’t want to have multiple blogs, that’s just too much!

Welcome back!! I personally love when book bloggers venture out and talk about other topics because you get to se other sides of the blogger.
