WWW Wednesday [40]

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Books to do a little reading plan update.

The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

34017090. sy475 35604481

I’m within the last 100 pages of Victory. Victory is in sight haha. (Sorry, I’m great at bad jokes) I’m mostly making progress at the pool, so I’m hoping to get some more sun this weekend.

I’ve made no progress on The Count of Monte Cristo or Pleasure Activism since last week, but hopefully I’ll finish Victory in the next few days and get back to them.

I started The Three Body Problem last week having no idea what I was getting into. The first few chapters left me confused (I have no background knowledge of China in the late 60’s, so it makes sense that I didn’t understand), but once it got to the future (current?), things started making more sense. And it’s also gotten a lot more interesting. Hopefully I’ll get through it in the next day, as my loan is about to expire…

I decided to pick up Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone last night. I’ve been craving it, and it’s about time I get started on my annual reread, so why not pick it up when I’ve got a pile of other books in progress, right?

Recently Finished:

I somehow finished Pillars of the Earth. Honestly, at 1500+ pages in e-book form, I am freaking shocked. Take that reading slump! I have a review mostly written, I just need to clean it up and hopefully will have it up by Friday. 🙂

Up Next:

World Without End is next up in my Overdrive, and I’ll be starting it in the next few days whether I finish The Three Body Problem or not haha.
